The Portuguese coach says the laws around throw-ins are no longer being applied and that they are sometimes being taken inside the touchline and with a foot raised.<\/p>\n
His comments come on the eve of West Ham\u2019s FA Cup tie against Brentford, who have one of the Premier League\u2019s most effective long-throw takers, Michael Kayode, in their ranks.<\/p>\n
Nuno said: \u201cIf you recall and you\u2019ve been in football long enough to remember, when a throw-in was bad execution the referee came over and said \u2018look\u2019. Now we see throw-ins sometimes inside of the pitch, sometimes the foot is raised.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know the law of the throw-in, both feet (on the ground). It\u2019s not happening. They are not acknowledging that part of the game. So that\u2019s my worries with the referees.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nuno insists the FA Cup is not an unwanted distraction despite West Ham\u2019s relegation worries.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe love the FA Cup and this is what we are focused on now,\u201d he added. \u201cIt\u2019s really, really important, and we\u2019re looking forward to being at home against a tough opponent. We want to try and go through.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
