Davis beats Gilley via unanimous decision<\/span><\/p>\n

What a fight!<\/p>\n

Earlier on, Ishmael Davis claimed the British and Commonwealth super-welterweight titles with a unanimous decision victory over Sam Gilley.<\/p>\n

It was an extremely close fight with two judges scoring the bout 115-113, and the third judge scoring it 115-114.<\/p>\n

There was some controversy as Davis looked like he had knocked Gilley down in the 12th round, however, the referee decided it was just a slip.<\/p>\n

But regardless of the knockdown not being counted, a career-best performance from Davis earned him a much-needed win.<\/p>\n

Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will have to put on a serious show to take fight of the night this evening!<\/p>\n
