It’s 50 goals for Coventry, five successive wins, 10 points clear at the top and a goal difference of +32.<\/b><\/p>\n

But they had to come from behind today and boss Frank Lampard has been speaking to BBC CWR:<\/b><\/p>\n

“A really important and good win for us at the end of a tough week.<\/p>\n

“We’ve had to try to manage the squad, we’ve got a few issues so I was really pleased to go 1-0 down to show the patience in our game, to keep going, keep probing.<\/p>\n

“You worry when there’s a clear penalty you don’t get that the whole stadium sees, you worry when they block things on the line and you wonder if it’s going to be one of those days.<\/p>\n

“To be fair to the lads they kept calm, got two goals in the first half and then saw out the second half very well against a dangerous opposition.<\/p>\n

On Ellis Simms making it five goals in three games:<\/b><\/p>\n

“He worked hard when he wasn’t starting too much but was impacting games when he came on.<\/p>\n

“Everyone’s really happy because we know how he is, low key and humble but how he’s playing now, he’s a threat.”<\/p>\n

On the missing top scorer, Brandon Thomas-Asante who has a hamstring injury:<\/b><\/p>\n

“It’s not so great, he’s going to be out for a minimum of six weeks.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
