Liam Rosenior is set to manage in the Premier League for the first time, with his appointment as Chelsea boss seemingly imminent.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old made clear at his news conference this morning that his departure from Strasbourg – currently seventh in Ligue 1 – could be confirmed in the next few hours.<\/p>\n

So, how has he got here?<\/p>\n

As a player, Rosenior represented clubs including Fulham, Hull City and Brighton.<\/p>\n

It was at Brighton where he gained early coaching experience within the club’s youth set-up, before taking up a role at Derby County, where he would go on to be appointed assistant manager to Wayne Rooney.<\/p>\n

In 2022, Rosenior was appointed as manager at former club Hull City. He led the Tigers to seventh place in the 2023-24 Championship but was sacked after his side missed out on the play-offs.<\/p>\n

That summer, he left for France to take over from Patrick Vieira at Strasbourg – a club owned by Chelsea owners BlueCo, the company run by Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
