Harry Kane scored twice as Bayern Munich moved nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga with victory over Eintracht Frankfurt at Allianz Arena.<\/b><\/p>\n
Aleksandar Pavlovic opened the scoring after 16 minutes with a shot on the volley from just outside the area which squirmed under the grasp of Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos.<\/p>\n
England captain Kane added a second soon after, heading in from close range.<\/p>\n
Kane netted his 28th Bundesliga goal of the season in the 68th minute when he picked up the ball on the outside of the area and bent a low strike past Santos.<\/p>\n
It was an eventful afternoon for the former Tottenham striker who gave away a penalty after catching Oscar Hojlund in the box.<\/p>\n
Jonathan Burkardt slotted the spot-kick into the bottom corner past Bayern goalkeeper Jonas Urbig to give Frankfurt hope of a comeback.<\/p>\n
With four minutes remaining, Arnaud Kalimuendo benefitted from a lapse in concentration at the back for Bayern as Kim Min-jae’s clearance bounced off him and into the goal.<\/p>\n
The result means Bayern increase their lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund who play RB Leipzig later on Saturday (17:30 GMT) while Frankfurt remain seventh.<\/p>\n
Before the match began, Kane was honoured with a poster to celebrate his reaching 500 career goals for club and country last weekend against Werder Bremen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
