The answer is eight.

Liverpool have now conceded eight Premier League goals in the 90th minute or later this season – their most in a single campaign – and every single one has cost them points.

Five have been winning goals conceded against Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Manchester City and Wolves.

Three have been draws, coming against Leeds, Fulham and now Tottenham.

By comparison, Liverpool have won three matches with last minute or injury-time goals – and two of those coming in their first four games of the season.

Yes, it’s all ifs, buts and maybes, but to give you an idea of just how much those late suckerpunches have cost the Reds… Arne Slot’s side would be on 60 points and pretty much have a Champions League spot wrapped up.
