Welsh record holder Jones, who is targeting the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, was the British champion in 2020.
Last year she was runner-up at the UK Championships for a fourth time when throwing a new personal best of 56.53 metres.
However, the broken javelins have hit her bid for success in Glasgow, with the women’s final at Scotstoun Stadium on Saturday, 1 August.
“With my entire focus on making the team for the Commonwealth Games, this couldn’t have come at a more devastating moment,” she said.
“To have all of my javelins damaged at this point in the season is incredibly tough. They’re not only expensive, but they’re such a personal part of what we do as throwers.”
