Hamzah Sheeraz will fight Alem Begic for the WBO super-middleweight title on 23 May in Egypt.
The Briton will be chief support to Oleksandr Usyk’s world title fight against Dutchman Rico Verhoeven at the Pyramids of Giza.
Sheeraz, 26, failed in his one previous world title fight at middleweight while the unbeaten German Begic challenges for the first time.
Begic, 39, is unbeaten in 30 fights with one draw.
The Giza event will feature another world title fight as Japan’s Mizuki Hiruta will defend her WBO super-flyweight belt against Egyptian-born Australian Mai Soliman.
Hiruta, 29, is undefeated in 10 fights and won her world title in just her fourth outing.
Also on the Usyk-Verhoeven undercard is Englishman Jack Catterall, who continues his bid to become a world champion.
Catterall will face undefeated Uzbek contender Shakhram Giyasov for the WBA ‘regular’ welterweight title and the opportunity to potentially face WBA ‘super’ champion Rolando Romero.
