Hearts forwards Claudio Braga and Lawrence Shankland and Motherwell attackers Elijah Just and Tawanda Maswanhise are the four candidates for PFA Scotland’s Premiership player of the year award.
Portuguese striker Braga, 26, and Scotland forward Shankland, 30, have scored 34 goals between them this season for leaders Hearts.
Zimbabwe international Maswanhise, 23, is the division’s top scorer on 17 and he has 23 in all competitions. New Zealand winger Just, 25 has seven goals and seven assists this term.
Forward Georgia Timms of leaders Hearts, Rangers striker Katie Wilkinson and Glasgow City goalkeeper Lee Gibson and attacker Nicole Kozlova are the SWPL player of the year nominees.
