Sunderland head coach Regis le Bris on Habib Diarra’s rehab from groin surgery and whether the midfielder will feature for Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations:

“We are in a good place but we don’t want to rush the process because we’ll need Habib for the second half of the season in his best shape.

“If it’s too early to start with the national team and we could damage his health, we won’t take risks, but we’ll see.”
