Real Madrid midfielder Caroline Weir “was in the gym doing her individual programme”, Andreatta said.
“Caz has had a massive workload with club coming into country and we’ve got to manage her and make sure she’s fit and just looking after her individually,” she explained.
When asked if the 30-year-old – who has captained Scotland in her first five games in charge but has yet to be officially announced as skipper – would miss the match, Andreatta stressed “everyone is available”.
“I think I’m still finalising my decisions,” the head coach added on the captaincy.
“I like to take my time on things, but yeah, she has been wearing the armband and we also have a wider group of leaders too.
“By February, I’ll definitely communicate who’s going to be in that role permanently.”
