Hinata Miyazawa has signed a new long-term deal with Manchester United until 2029.

The Japan international has become a key player under manager Marc Skinner since joining in 2023.

Miyazawa originally signed a three-year deal with the club, which would have seen her contract expire in June 2026.

The 26-year-old has more than 50 caps for her national team and was the Golden Boot winner at the 2023 Women’s World Cup with five goals.

She has impressed this season, starting all 22 matches United have played across the Women’s Super League, Champions League and the League Cup.

“I am really enjoying playing football at Manchester United and I am really happy to be continuing my journey here,” Miyazawa told the club’s media.
