‘Melrose will be backed’published at 21:49 GMT
FT: Airdrieonians 1-1 Partick Thistle
A couple of Airdrie’s best performers on the night have been talking to BBC Scotland.
Lewis Strapp: “We did enough in the game to deserve three points. It’s an unlucky situation for the goal, but we’ve got a good changing room in there and [Cade Melrose] will be backed.
“It’s been a change with [Aaron Taylor-Sinclair] taking training. We’re moving the ball a wee bit better.”
Euan Henderson: “It happens in football. We’ll pick him up and he’s got to go again.
“It was a good performance and that’s the main thing. We’ve got to build on it next week.
