Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on the form of Leandro Trossard, who has had five goals and four assists in the Premier League this season:
“I think he has been very consistent and very stable, but all of the front players I would say [the same] because they have all contributed through the season so far in a great way, whether that is starting or as an impact player.
“That’s what we need. Whoever we put in there they will bring different qualities to the team, but I think they are in a great moment.”
On whether there is a greater hunger in his attacking players to want to start games, due to increased competition?: “Yes, to want to start, but also in fulfilling the role when they have to come in in an extraordinary way. That is something that has improved a lot. Every time we bring in players on the pitch they are really deciding games, and that’s what we need.”
