The 41-year-old made clear at his news conference this morning that his departure from Strasbourg – currently seventh in Ligue 1 – could be confirmed in the next few hours.
So, how has he got here?
As a player, Rosenior represented clubs including Fulham, Hull City and Brighton.
It was at Brighton where he gained early coaching experience within the club’s youth set-up, before taking up a role at Derby County, where he would go on to be appointed assistant manager to Wayne Rooney.
In 2022, Rosenior was appointed as manager at former club Hull City. He led the Tigers to seventh place in the 2023-24 Championship but was sacked after his side missed out on the play-offs.
That summer, he left for France to take over from Patrick Vieira at Strasbourg – a club owned by Chelsea owners BlueCo, the company run by Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali.
