Team GB:
Megan Keith will be looking to continue in her fine form after earning a silver medal in both the individual and team event at the European Cross Country Championships last month. She has placed in the top four in all her four cross country events in 2025.
Team GB’s mixed relay team consists of two of the same four runners that earned bronze last time out: Alexandra Millard and Adam Fogg. This team brought back GB’s only medal at the last World Athletics Cross Country Championships.

Rest of the World:
Jacob Kiplimo will be defending his title as World Champion. The half marathon world record holder has won the past two senior men’s race at the World Athletics Cross Country titles, becoming the first Ugandan to hold the title back-to-back in that category.
Ethiopia’s Marta Alemayo also returns to defend her title having claimed gold in the U20’s Women’s race. The Ethiopian team showed their dominance in the U20s race, claiming the gold, silver and bronze in the individual rankings, as well as gold in the team result.
The Kenyan team topped the medal rankings last time out with 11 medals, including six golds. They displayed a dominant performance in the mixed relay event, winning by more than 30s, and three of those four runners will take to the track again in Tallahassee.
