Yorkshire: Netherlands all-rounder Logan van Beek to play eight Championship games

Yorkshire have signed Netherlands all-rounder Logan van Beek for a significant portion of the 2025 season.

Van Beek, 35, will be available for the first eight games in the County Championship and also be part of Yorkshire’s squad for the T20 Blast.

The New Zealand-born cricketer has played a combined 64 white-ball internationals and at both the T20 and 50-over World Cups.

Yorkshire will be Van Beek’s fourth county after previous stints with Derbyshire, Worcestershire and last year with Leicestershire.

He took 34 wickets and scored 387 runs, averaging just under 30, to help the Foxes win the Division Two title.

“Yorkshire are on an upward trajectory and the opportunity to work with the coaches, and the team is one that really excites me,” Van Beek told the club’s website, external.
