Wolves have rejected Leeds’ bid for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The offer is well below Wolves’ £40m asking price and came a number of days ago.
Wolves are willing to let the Norway international, who has scored just once in the Premier League this season, leave this month.
Bottom of the Premier League, Wolves are looking to reshape the squad ahead of an expected relegation and, after Strand Larsen’s poor form and deteriorating relationship with the fans, he is expected to exit Molineux.
He signed from Celta Vigo, initially on loan, in 2024 and scored 14 goals last season before making the move permanent last summer for £23m.
Newcastle failed with bids of £50m and £55m for Strand Larsen in the summer.
Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Crystal Palace have all shown an interest this month.
