Arbroath and Greenock Morton played out a gritty Scottish Championship draw in awful conditions at Gayfield.
After a goalless first half, Arbroath benefitted from having a howling North Sea gale at their backs after the break and took the lead through Aaron Muirhead’s clever backheel.
However, on a rare foray forward, Michael Garrity volleyed home Owen Moffat’s delightful cross in the 74th minute to earn Morton a point.
Ian Murray’s side stay seventh on 23 points, while Arbroath move to within three points of second-placed Partick Thistle having played a game more.
