Bath full-back Tom de Glanville has signed a new contract with the club until 2028.
The 26-year-old was born in Bath and has spent his entire professional career with his home town club having come up through its academy system and is now set to stay for at least another two seasons.
The former England Under-20 player started in Bath’s Premiership and European Challenge Cup final wins last season, as part of a treble, the high point of his seven years at the club
De Glanville said: “This club and the special people within it have become family to me. It’s a privilege to be able to represent the Blue, Black and White at The Rec and I’ll never take it for granted.
“I’m so grateful to all the fans for the support through the tough times and the good, and that’s what makes this club so special. I can’t wait for what is to come on this journey.”
Bath head of Rugby, Johann van Graan, said: “Tom is an incredible team man and a very important player in our group. Tom is certainly one of the unsung heroes of our team and the DNA of our squad.
“Tom and his family have a history with the club and we are very grateful that the Blue, Black and White will continue to flow through his veins.”
