Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka: “The learning from the last game was that our batters need to take it deep. The bowlers actually did a decent job so I hopefully expect the same in this game.
“New Zealand might be adjusting to the spinners, so they never know what we are going to offer today. That’s another reason why we’ve chosen to bowl as well.
“We’ve made one change from the last game, Kamil Mishara is out and Charith Asalanka comes in for that.”
