It’s another early start here at Wales’ headquarters in the Vale of Glamorgan as Steve Tandy names his team to face Ireland.

We’re back to the Six Nations after the one-week break and do we note a hint of optimism in the air?

On the back of a vastly improved performance by Wales against Scotland, we saw Cardiff and Ospreys both claim wins over Irish opposition, Dragons drew and Scarlets came within a score of beating Edinburgh in Scotland.

Now Tandy has the job of selecting his team to face an Ireland side who have hauled themselves back into the title race with that thumping win over England.

Tandy is due to announce his team at 09:00 GMT and we will then get the chance to question his selections at a press conference at 10:30 GMT, which will be streamed live here.

But before that, let’s have a look at some of the big calls that need to be made.
